LFA Rush

Total Soccer Programming

LFA Rush TotalSoccer Programming encompasses much more than just Team Practices and Games. Enjoyment and mastery of soccer comes from a variety of experiences and activities, from FreePlay to Private Lessons, to official League Games. Find our wide range of soccer activities below.

TEAM PROGRAMMING

                               PRACTICES

Players receive skills and tactical training in Complete Possession Tactics, team organization, and preparation for formal team competitions in league and tournaments.

More about Team Training

                   COLORADO STATE LEAGUE

League play offers two 8-game seasons (Spring and Fall), organized and sanctioned by the Colorado Soccer Association (CSA). Most games occur on Saturdays, with home and away games.

                             TOURNAMENTS

Tournaments form the pinnacle of high-level competition. All LFA Rush teams participate in 1-3 local Denver-metro tournaments (depending on the level and age of the team), with the occasional out-of-state travel tournament. No single tournament is required for any player, and families do not pay tournament fees they do not attend.

                          FRIENDLY MATCHES

Local scrimmages between LFA Rush teams and neighboring club teams make for good competition in between league seasons and tournaments. Our teams often participate in friendly matches, in full uniform and in a setting similar to a league match with families in attendance. The friendly match is a chance for players to relax and experiment a bit more with creativity and style. The outcome—win or lose—is not important.

NON-TEAM SOCCER PROGRAMMING

                                FREEPLAY

Pick-up or “street” soccer, is called Free Play at LFA Rush, with a variety of field and goal sizes depending on number of players participating.  We supervise to ensure a smooth experience, but we do not coach.  Free Play gives players the opportunity to play from the heart, to experiment with creativity and allow failure to teach without harmful consequences.  Free play is one of the most popular activities among LFA Rush players, its spontaneous style forming a core source of enjoyment.

                          SEASONAL CAMPS

LFA Rush offers Summer Camps. All LFA camps address two principle features: Technical work (to learn) and small games (to implement). We teach the skills and then provide the proper environment to ingrain them firmly into a player's repertoire. Our camps may be intensely coached, but they are also a time to encourage freedom of exploration.
