TRYOUT FORMAT

LFA Rush tryouts are designed for coaches to observe player performance and to provide coach-player interaction via instructional work.  Players will be evaluated based on skill, game understanding, athleticism, attitude and coachability.  Our evaluations of returning players will not rest solely on tryout performance but will also be substantially influenced by the player’s past season of play.

More personal involvement between coaches and players is an important part of the LFA Rush culture.  It helps foster an atmosphere of connectivity and inclusiveness.  Being evaluated can be stressful on younger players, and although it can be a valuable learning experience, we also recognize that reducing stress can help a player bring out his or her most creative soccer. That is important to us, and a quality that our staff does not want to miss noticing.

If you have any questions regarding our LFA Rush tryouts, or would like to chat with us about any related issues, please feel free to contact us at [email protected] or 952-564-7891. We are always here to assist with anything you might need.
